Join our dynamic research team on a journey through time as we delve into the mysteries of seafloor weathering and its influence on global climate evolution. We are seeking a dedicated laboratory research assistant with a passion for geochemistry and geology.
The successful candidate will be assisting a post-doctoral researcher to: Conduct thorough analyses of oceanic crust samples from diverse climatic epochs. Extract and scrutinize minerals resulting from seafloor weathering processes. Precisely quantify the prevalence of these minerals within the collected samples. Diligently prepare samples for oxygen-isotope composition analyses.
The ideal candidate will bring a background in geochemistry or geology, bolstered by hands-on laboratory experience. A proactive attitude and the ability to commit time to the project are essential. We value team players who bring enthusiasm and meticulousness to their scientific endeavors.
