Research Assistant I/II for the Rule of Law Education Project (ROLE) in the Department of Law (Ref.: 500559) (to commence on September 1, 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent qualification. They should have a good command of written English and Chinese, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in public affairs; good photo-editing skills and experience in management of social media. Website design experience and work experience in a tertiary institution will be an advantage. The appointee will be responsible for liaising with HKU law students and various cooperating partners of the project; assisting in the maintenance of the content of the project website (https://www.role.hku.hk) and social media accounts; organizing educational activities promoting the rule of law, and performing research and support duties as assigned by the project coordinators.
