The Institute of Neuroanatomy and Developmental Biology (INDB) is currently looking for a 

student research assistant (m/f/d, approx. 40h/month)

for stem cell and organoid culture from Monday to Friday and weekends (approx. 40h/month, with possible hour extension; the weekdays are flexible).

Description 

We are looking for a Bachelor/Master student of the natural sciences (e.g. biology, molecular medicine…) for (stem) cell culture. Experience in cell culture is mandatory. Experience with stem cell maintenance and organoid culture are advantageous, but not a prerequisite. You should be a communicative character with good team spirit and the ability to work accurately. Fluently spoken English is obligatory. 

Included tasks:

  • Stem cell culture
  • Retinal organoid culture 
  • Microfluidic chip culture
  • Medium preparation
