Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Psychiatry, School Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 517256) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding)

The research team led by Professor Eric Yu-Hai Chen is internationally renowned for studies in psychotic disorders, youth mental health, digital psychiatry and community early detection and intervention.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, sociology, occupational therapy, public health, nursing, data science, cognitive science, statistics or other related disciplines. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

The appointees will take part in clinical research projects with diverse interests, such as interventions and outcome measures of early psychotic disorders, or large-scale youth mental health assessments and services. They will work closely with professional researchers and clinicians. The posts would be ideal for those who want to gain clinical exposure and experience in research and interventions that target early onset mental disorders.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 516463) need not re-apply.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
