Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 500524) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, social science, or any healthcare-related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English, Hindi and Urdu; a strong commitment to high quality research; good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness.

The appointee will participate in a 2-year ethnic minority mental health pilot project, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mental health counselling for the ethnic minority in the Hong Kong community. He/She will assist in the development and management of the research components of the project; conduct literature reviews; prepare questionnaires; conduct assessments with participants; collect, input and analyse data; and perform other duties as assigned.
