Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Psychology (Ref: 516590) (to commence from October 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology or a related discipline. They should demonstrate knowledge and interest in the areas of clinical psychology, health psychology, or experimental psychology; have prior experience in quantitative data analysis and knowledge of SPSS and R or a similar statistical package; have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; have good interpersonal skills and must have excellent organizational skills; and, be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Knowledge and interests in the psychology of habit, sleep and self-regulation, disordered eating behaviour, the intersection between mental health and physical health, and interventions and treatments are preferable.

The appointee will be responsible for coordinating research activities; conducting literature review for research projects and/or funding proposals; assisting in data collection and analysis; supervising and training undergraduate research interns; and performing other research-related duties as assigned by the PI.  The appointee will have the opportunities to advance data analysis skills and co-author in manuscripts.
