Research Assistant I (several posts) in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503166) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree in biological sciences or related disciplines, with at least 1 year’s relevant working experience. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational, and communicational skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and the willingness to learn. They should be a quick learner, dedicated, intelligent, and responsible. A keen interest in research and knowledge of phylogenetics analysis would be advantages. Preference will be given to those who are immediately available and have experience working in a laboratory. The appointee will assist in research projects related to tick virus and tick genome.
