Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 518667) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; a strong sense of responsibility; and good interpersonal skill. They should also be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work in a team.

The appointees will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects on elderly and/or youth mental health, and be responsible for literature review, data collection and analysis, preparation of presentations, drafting reports, and other duties as assigned. Working irregular hours and/or on weekends may be required occasionally. Those with more research experience and/or stronger academic background may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test.
