Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Assessment and Analysis Officer) in the Teaching and Learning Evaluation and Measurement Unit (Ref.: 502187) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology/Social Science/Statistics or a related discipline.  Advanced proficiency with SPSS, Excel, R, and a good command of spoken and written English are essential.  Knowledge of and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods would be an advantage.  They should also demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, handle multi-task and be attentive to details. The appointee will support various institutional surveys and projects on teaching and learning; collect and analyze data, produce reports, conduct interviews, and write up manuscripts. He/She will also perform general administrative and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. On-the-job training related to psychometric analysis will be provided.
