£27511 to £32817 per annum, pro rata depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD).

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated researcher to work on our UKRI-funded research project: “UK SMEs: quantifying their pandemic risk and credit risk exposures in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis” for developing novel methodologies to support the research team.

The post holder will be expected to undertake independent research as well as working as part of a team. This will include using methodologies and techniques in statistics and machine/deep learning methods that are appropriate to the research of firms’ credit risk exposures. The role holder will also be responsible for writing up in order to contribute to published outcomes. The role holder will have the opportunity to use the initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend the research portfolio. 

The post is offered on a full time, fixed term contract for a period of 8 months commencing 30 August 2021.
