£27511 to £30942 per annum (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD).

Applications are invited to the above role to support the principal investigator or research team in developing research objectives and proposals and conducting research in the area of chemotherapy-induced pain. 

The post holder will be expected to undertake independent research as well as working as part of a team. This will include using approaches or methodologies and techniques used in neuroscience research including molecular, cellular and whole systems approaches. The post holder will be responsible for writing up their work in order to contribute to published outcomes.

The role holder will have the opportunity to use their initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend their research portfolio.

We are seeking candidates with developing research skills, the ability to apply relevant research approaches and demonstrable experience in building relationships and collaborating with others both internally and externally.

Candidates must hold A PhD or be near to completion of a PhD or studying towards a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area.

This full-time (36.25 hour), fixed-term post is available from 2nd July 2021 to 28th February 2022. Job share arrangements may be considered.
