3D Nanostructured Optics with Designer Elements (NODE) to Shape and Control Light

Research fellows will be supported under the prestigious NRF Investigatorship grant. Postdocs or fresh PhD graduates with background in electrical engineering, optics, nanophotonics, material science, physics are welcome to apply to lead any of the following topics:

  1. 3D nanofabrication using two-photon lithography (Nanoscribe). Goal is to achieve improvements in resolution, materials, precision, direct fabrication of full bandgap photonic crystals in visible, unique optical elements, etc.
  2. Orbital Angular Momentum generation and detection. Looking at new ways of generating OAM e.g. in k-space, and realizing these designs through 3D nanofabricated structures, holograms, and microprints.
  3. Fundamentals and applications of structural color and phase control. Device integration for applications in miniaturized spectrometers, anti-counterfeiting, and sensing applications.

Interested candidates to submit applications and CV in this portal or to joel_yang@sutd.edu.sg
