Salary
£27511 to £40322 per annum, (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

Applications are invited for an Innovate UK funded Research Fellow position based in Fluids & Thermal Engineering Research Group in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham.  

Applicants should be enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable of providing high quality work. The candidate should have a PhD (or the equivalent) in an appropriate field such as Fluids & Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability Engineering. Publications and experience in two-phase drops evaporation, phase change or spraying cooling are highly desirable.  An interest or experience in experimental measurement on interfacial behaviours of bubbles & drops on structured or curved surfaces is particularly valued. Applicants must have initiative and good communication and teamwork skills.  Autonomy and independent thinking is essential.

The post is available on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2021. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements will be considered.
