Job description

The HIV group of the Brighton and Sussex Centre for Global Health Research is looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral research fellow to provide high quality neurosciences expertise into conducting and analysing brain imaging (MRI) data from clinical studies of people living with HIV.  

The successful applicant will have:

  • An established record of technical skills applicable to human neuroscience and experience in the analysis and presentation of experimental research.
  • Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant neuroscientific discipline.
  • Experience in human neuroimaging, including MRI data acquisition and fMRI analytic platforms (e.g. SPM, FSL, AFNI) is desirable.
  • Similarly, experience in conducting clinical investigations, particularly if relevant to people accessing neurological or mental health services, is highly desirable.
