Research Fellow - Science, Mathematics and Technology Cluster - LBELL group, to work on cutting edge research on simulation of ferroelectric/memristive materials as a member of the group led by Natasa Bajalovic and Desmond Loke. He/She will join an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of Scientists and Engineers. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing the LBELL group's capability in simulation of ferroelectric/memristive materials and analysis of the models through software; overseeing model development and software use, maintenance, and troubleshooting; communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and supervising undergraduate students.

Job requirements

Ph.D. in physics, chemistry or a related field; prior experience with simulation of ferroelectric/memristive materials, model design and setup, software development is required; experience with large simulation models; strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills; self-motivation; and attention to detail. Must be able to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment, contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team, execute detailed technical protocols meticulously, and prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. Supervisory experience is preferred.
