Science, Mathematics and Technology Cluster - LBELL group, is looking for a Research Fellow to work on cutting edge research on simulation of ferroelectric/ memristive materials as a member of the group led by Natasa Bajalovic and Desmond Loke. Will join an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of Scientists and Engineers. Will be responsible for enhancing the LBELL group's capability in simulation of ferroelectric/ memristive materials and analysis of the models through software; overseeing model development and software use, maintenance, and troubleshooting; communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and supervising undergraduate students. 

Candidates who are interested in state-of-the-art research on experiment of ferroelectric/ memristive materials are also welcome.

Job requirements

Required: a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, materials science or a related field; prior experience with simulation of ferroelectric/ memristive materials, model design and setup, software development is required; experience with large simulation models; strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills; self-motivation; and attention to detail. Must be able to contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team, execute detailed simulation procedures meticulously, and prioritise and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Candidates who are interested in other research on experiment of ferroelectric/memristive materials must also hold a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, materials science or a related field; prior experience with material synthesis and characterization, device testing is also required.
