The Research Technician I role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a high-impact, ARPA-H-funded research initiative focused on advancing solutions for osteoarthritis.

Given the project’s time-sensitive milestones, this position plays a critical role in accelerating experimental progress, from animal behavioral testing to tissue analysis and support for drug development using nanomaterials.

We are looking for temporary full-time assistance for 3 to 6 months.

This position is 100% research/grant funded.

Minimum Requirements

• Work requires an Associate degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology, or another science-related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Animal handling
• Von Frey measurements and/or Dynamic Weight Bearing
• Chemical Synthesis
• Quality Control and/or Microtome Usage

Anticipated Pay Range

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position of USD $18.00 to USD $26.49.
