Lead the provision of careers education, guidance, and information to postgraduate students, alumni, and working professionals.
Develop and implement strategically important plans and programmes to enhance careers and employability.
Provide specialist expertise on labour market trends, future skills, and graduate employability to inform policies and strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (students, academics, professional services) and external partners (employers, industry, government, not-for-profits).
Support career opportunities through employer engagement, alumni relations, and programme design.
Lead career services initiatives, workshops, and guidance programmes.
Design, implement, and continuously improve careers-related activities.
Advise on career development strategies and labour market trends.
Support alumni and students in career planning and professional development.
Engage with employers, professional bodies, and government agencies to enhance student and alumni opportunities.
Use specialist knowledge to inform and influence career-related policies and strategies.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in careers guidance, student employability, or related roles.
Strong understanding of labour market trends, graduate employability, and future skills needs.
Ability to work independently, show initiative, and problem-solve.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working with domestic and international students and alumni is advantageous.
Desirable Attributes:
Knowledge of higher education and postgraduate career services.
Experience with programme design and implementation.
Collaborative mindset and ability to build networks internally and externally.
