Programme Overview

The AI Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) at the University of Nottingham trains future leaders in foundational and applied AI research through a multidisciplinary cohort-based approach.

PhD studentships offer:

  • Choice of AI-related multidisciplinary research projects across Arts, Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences, Science, and Social Sciences.

  • Fully-funded PhD with tax-free stipend.

  • Participation in a cohort-based program, providing peer-to-peer learning and transferable skills development.

  • Supervision by world-class academic experts in AI and related disciplines.


Entry Requirements

  • Normally a 2:1 Bachelor or Master’s degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant discipline.

  • Admission is subject to University requirements.
