Do you have experience in technical support within education and research, and do you feel at home in a multicultural international environment? Are you interested in soil and water-related issues and in understanding things better through experiments and monitoring various processes? And do you speak English and Dutch? If so, read on!
We are looking for an enthusiastic all-round technical assistant for the Soil Physics and Land Management group. The main task is to support the staff members and PhD students in education and research. You will do this in consultation and cooperation with other technicians in the group. The educational contribution mainly involves organizing and conducting practical’s for students and co-supervising excursions both domestically and abroad. The research activities are technical and organizational in nature and can take place in one of our laboratories on campus or out in the field where staff and PhD students frequently conduct research. Particularly important for the chair group is the active initiation and contribution to the design and setup of technical measurement programs. Given the international nature of the chair group, a good command of both Dutch and English is required.
