The Faculty II - Computer Science, Economics and Law - of the University of Oldenburg, Department of Computer Science, "Media Computer Science and Multimedia Systems" group, headed by Prof. Dr. S. Boll, is offering for the duration of three years a position for a

research staff member (m/f/d)

100% full-time equivalent, payment group 13 of the General Framework Agreement on Public Services in the Federal States of Germany (TV-L).

The prerequisites for employment are a scientific university degree (Master's or Diploma) in computer science with above-average grades, the ability to work in a team and very good skills in English, both in conversation and writing. Due to the scientific research area of the group, in-depth previous knowledge in the field of human-technology interaction, especially ubiquitous computing, augmented reality and mixed reality. Experience in research and teaching such as supporting undergraduate students or grant writing is expected. In teaching, participation in the department's courses, especially in the field of Human-Computer Interaction and Engineering Socio-Technical Systems in the Bachelor and Master programs of the Department of Computer Science is expected.

A doctorate in the field of Human-Computer Interaction should definitely be aspired; the opportunity to do so will be given in the department.

The position is suitable for part-time employment.
