Your role

A new Bachelor in ATM radiology will be launched in September 2025. In this context, we are seeking a dedicated Research Scientist in ATM Radiology to join our multidisciplinary team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in medical imaging while actively engaging in teaching and mentoring students and trainees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in radiology, medical imaging technologies, and research methodologies, with a passion for advancing scientific knowledge and training the next generation of professionals.

Teaching:

  • Contribute to curriculum development and educational programs
  • Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops related to ATM radiology and medical imaging technologies
  • Supervise and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and trainees involved in research projects
  • Foster an engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking and innovative approaches to radiology and imaging research
  • Provide guidance on research design, methodology, and data interpretation to students and junior researchers

Research:

  • Lead and conduct innovative research projects focused on ATM radiology, including image acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation
  • Develop and validate new imaging techniques, algorithms, or software to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research findings into clinical applications

Coordination:

  • The candidate will support the coordination of the Bachelor in ATM radiology by contributing to establish the teaching staff, the course schedules, the teaching programme in close contact with the Director of the study, the study program administrator and the project officer
Your profile
  • PhD or equivalent degree in Radiology, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in medical imaging, particularly ATM radiology
  • Experience with imaging hardware, software development, or image analysis techniques
  • Proven ability to secure research funding and manage research projects
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills, with experience in mentoring students and trainees
  • Strong collaborative skills and an ability to work effectively across disciplines
  • Experience in simulation training is a plus
  • Linguistic capacities: fluency in English and French is required. German would be an added value
