Subject Area Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research aligned with Institute’s strategic strengths.

  • Apply for external research funding and mentor junior researchers.

  • Disseminate research to academic and societal audiences.

  • Teaching at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels (Swedish/Scandinavian and English).

  • Supervise degree projects and doctoral students.

  • Complete university pedagogical training within one year if not already qualified.


Eligibility

  • PhD in caring science, medical science, or equivalent research expertise.

  • PhD or equivalent achieved within 7 years; earlier achievement considered under exceptional circumstances (sick leave, parental leave, etc.).

  • Swedish/Nordic professional registration required (nurse, radiographer, or midwife).

  • Proficiency in Swedish/Scandinavian language and English (spoken and written).

    • Peer-reviewed publications (quality prioritized over quantity)

    • Ability to obtain external funding

  2. Teaching Expertise

    • Ability to teach and examine at all levels

Employment Terms

  • Fixed-term, 5 years, full-time (100%)
