Position Overview

UCC seeks a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition & Dietetics to contribute to the postgraduate programme in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, while inspiring future dietetics professionals.

The appointee will also:

  • Be an established research scientist with international reputation

  • Have an excellent publication record

  • Support the development of a world-class collaborative postgraduate research programme in dietetics

  • Foster collaboration within the UCC research community

  • Position UCC as an international leader in dietetics education, training, and research


Candidate Profile

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience at clinical and academic levels in human nutrition and dietetics

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment

  • Strong research record and potential for international collaboration

Desirable attributes:

  • Leadership in programme development

  • Track record of interdisciplinary collaboration

  • Ability to mentor students and junior researchers
