Senior Research Assistant in Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care, LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 503477) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary)

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Psychology, or a related social sciences discipline, with relevant work experience in managing health service research projects.  They must be proficient in statistical analysis commonly used in psychology and social sciences.  Substantive work experience focusing on psycho-oncology would be highly desirable.  Applicants should be mature, attentive to details, able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team; and have a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and computer skills.

The appointee will join the Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care team to develop and conduct evidence-based supportive cancer care services.  He/She will assist in research activities; prepare research grant proposals; draft sections for academic publications; develop analytic plans, protocols and reports; and perform any other duties as assigned.
