Senior Research Assistant/ Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Research Coordinator) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 508124) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

We are looking for a high calibre candidate to work for the genome/ cancer genetic research programme of the Faculty. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Health Sciences, Basic Sciences or related disciplines with at least 2 years’ work experience. They should have good communication, interpersonal, management and organizational skills; have good competency in MS Office applications; and be fluent in Chinese and English to have direct communication with patients and the general public.  Preference will be given to those who have frontline service experience in a substantial medical organization or NGO. Those with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.

The appointee will join a multidisciplinary research team participating in genomics and bioinformatics analysis on cancer. He/She will provide administrative support to the team including management of patients’ bookings and records, coordination of the study, clinical data entry and documentation, liaison with the team members and external stakeholders; and perform any other office duties as assigned.
