Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in School of Public Health (Ref.: 500532) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in science or social science, preferably with 3 years’ work experience. Those with a BSc degree should have knowledge of basic calculus and probability theory (not biostatistics). They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); good interpersonal, organizational, time management and project management skills; and IT proficiency. They should be highly motivated, attentive to details, and able to multi-task and work independently.

The appointee will coordinate projects, recruit participants on HKU campuses and in the community, collect data through face-to-face and/or telephone interviews, manage and analyse data, liaise and cooperate with various parties, and perform other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours and outdoor work may be required occasionally. This post will provide excellent practical experience in the fields of medicine and public health. Those with less experience may be considered as Research Assistant I/II.
