Michigan State University (MSU) anticipates funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement Malawi Sustainable Youth-centered STEM Solutions (M-SYSTEMS) in response to its Strengthening Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Expanding Degree Outcomes (SSTEMEDO) project. This will be a 5-year, $17 million collaboration between MSU, World Learning.org, and multiple higher education partners in Malawi. It will draw upon the experience and expertise across several colleges and units at MSU. The Outreach Specialist will work with project leaders to ensure the successful coordination and implementation of technical assistance, and the preparation and submission of USAID-required administrative and activity reports. They will join the principal and co-principal investigators, the project fiscal officer, and the in-country Chief of Party on the project senior leadership team.

Masters -Masters degree in business administration
5-10 years of experience working in a managerial position on a university-based international educational development project or USAID development project, with administrative oversight that includes the preparation of work plans, reports, budgets, etc.
Doctorate or equivalent degree in higher education, STEM education, or international development. Experience working in or with higher education systems in Eastern Africa.
