Development of degree apprenticeship provision is of strategic importance to the University and we have ambitious plans for a comprehensive suite of programmes across all our Faculties. The Faculty of Science has brought together an interdisciplinary team to create degree apprenticeship programmes where there is a strategic fit. This role is based within the Faculty of Science Apprenticeship and Online Hub, with the role holder working in close partnership with the Schools of Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences.
The purpose of this role is to support the development and delivery of Higher Degree Apprenticeships within the ‘digital and data’ sector, these could include (but would not be limited to) Level 6 Data Scientist and Level 7 AI Data Specialist.
The role holder will be responsible for;
The University of Nottingham is committed to supporting the continuing professional development of its staff through, for example, the provision of teacher training and the role holder will be expected to enrol on the PGCHE (where applicable).
There will be a need to travel within the UK as part of this role for the support and delivery of face-to-face teaching.
This is a permanent post which is available from 1 April 2021. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week, subject to timetabling constraints).
